Pre Season Schedule Announced

CREWE UNITED FC

Crewe United have released details of their pre-season schedule in the build up to the new season ahead. The highlight is as always the Peace Cup tie against Warrington Town and Crewe will be highly motivated to keep their hands on the trophy they won outright for the first time last August.

The Crewe squad travel to Warrington on Friday 29th July for their long weekend with the main event, the Peace Cup, taking place at 3pm on Saturday 30th. No doubt Warrington will fancy their chances of lifting the trophy which they held for so long but Crewe proved last year they were deserved winners. Crewe will be taking a party of 26 players and officials over to our good friends for what is always a fantastic weekend.

Other highlights of the pre season schedule includes a mouthwatering debry game against Lisburn Rangers who just gained promotion to the Amatuer League Premier Division and under the new management of former NI International Peter Kennedy. Crewe also take on the League winnners of Intermediate ‘A’ and the Amatuer League, Immaculatta and Newry City.

Manager Colin Telford has moved to strengthen his squad since the end of last season as the Glenavy side continue to build a strong squad in the search for a trophy.

New players are welcome to pre-season which kicks off on Tuesday night at Rathmore Grammar School (Grass pitch) and should in the first instance contact Colin Telford (07702 823700) or Nicky Maye (07809 685457). The full schedule can be viewed by clicking here.
