🔴 2016 Colts 🔴
The crewe colts headed to glenmore today for the next round of the lisburn castlereagh Junior league
1st half the boys battled hard to stop the onslaught of attacks from the Moira opposition. Moira got their well earned goals after some laps of concentration. But the boys gathered themselves and started finding their rhythm just before the halftime whistle.
2nd half was much better. The colts came out with much more intensity and they got their goal after some super build up play down the wing. A brilliant cross into the box was met by Jude who tucked it away beautifully on the half volley into the back of the net 👏🏻💪🏻. Another goal followed not long after. Joseph went on a tear down the wing, dribbling past 3 defenders before placing it into the bottom corner! 👏🏻 Huge well done to all the boys. Couldn’t have asked for more from them ❤️
Huge thanks to the Moira fc for the great match 🤝

BREAST FRIENDS Coffee Morning
We hope the title grabbed your attention!
The Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh, Alderman Amanda Grehan, is running a “Pink in October” appeal to raise funds for her chosen charity, Action Cancer, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The appeal includes a city-wide “Paint the Town Pink” initiative, various fundraising activities and we are getting involved!
This Saturday we will be running our ‘Breast Friends’ Coffee morning at the club from 9.30am until the first team kick off at 2.15pm. The first team are hosting Newmills FC in the MUFL Intermediate A League.
All donations of cakes and buns are welcome, but we would love your support on the day for a great cause. So many families are affected by cancer, and it is so important to raise awareness of breast cancer and help raise money for such a vital cause.
Mayor Amanda, speaking about our ‘Paint the Town Pink’ initiative said: “Cancer has touched far too many lives including those close to us and I’ve seen the difference early detection can make. I am proud of the support from local businesses and the council to visually raise awareness of the benefits of breast screening in our community.
“We want to spark conversations across Lisburn and Castlereagh. So, whether you love our pink lights, the pink ribbons in our trees, our pink shopfronts or our eye catching pink light installation be sure to tell others. The message is simple but life-saving – Be your own breast friend. Get yourself screened and don’t forget men need screening too.”
We look forward to raising as much as we can on Saturday!!
🔴⚪ Match Report 🔴⚪Crewe 2015 Girls vs Hillsborough 2015 Girls Colts.
The Crewe girls got off to a blistering start, dominating the first 10 minutes with relentless attacking play. Two quick goals each from Lydia and Izzy saw the team take an early and commanding 4-0 lead.
Backed by solid defensive organisation and composed midfield play, the girls continued to pile on the pressure. Aoife impressed with her intelligent runs into the box, unleashing a few shots of her own, while also showcasing calm and composed play in the middle of the park. Her versatility shone through as she also put in a shift between the posts when needed.
Aine worked tirelessly, contributing with strong defensive efforts and showing bravery in goal when called upon. Every player on the team gave their all, shaking off a few knocks from a physical opposition and never letting up the intensity.
The second half saw a quieter spell, with Hillsborough fielding an extra player. Despite that, the Crewe girls remained disciplined and determined, continuing to apply pressure and fight for every ball right up to the final whistle.
Player of the Match went to Lydia for her tireless work up front. Her energy and movement kept the Hillsborough defence on their toes throughout, and she came agonisingly close to a hat trick.
Well done to all the girls for a fantastic team performance!

Crewe 2014/15 v St Mals 2013s
Our girls welcomed St Mals to a wet, windy and cold Crewe Park this afternoon in what were terrible conditions for a football game - but these conditions didn't dampen the spirit of our Crewe Dynamos who have the desire to play football whether it's wind, rain, sleet or snow and today proved this.
With the girls helping out our other teams we started with a makeshift backline with CR as always in goals, HR, LK, Abbie all starting in defense, our midfielders Aoife and Maddie on the wings with Meghan playing a more defensive midfield role with Laila playing further forward and Talia leading the line.
As the refs whistle blew for KO, the girls went in the frontfoot straight away and could've scored a couple of early goals only for St Mals keeper making some fantastic saves.
Our defence during the first few minutes were never really troubled and kept St Mals well away from CR goal.
As the half progressed Laila was starting to put her stamp on the game and spreading the ball out to our wingers who at every turn with Maddie, running riot each time they had the ball, this allowed for Talia to make some smart runs into the box and into the channels to create some scoring opportunities, to allow the attacking players to their thing Meghan was holding the midfield in place and winning tackles around the central area.
The girls were piling the pressure on and trying to force the first goal and it eventually came with some brilliant work from HR winning the ball playing a lovely ball to Laila who played a delicious pass to Aoife who smashed a cross towards the goal where Maddie was awaiting 💥 1 Nil.
as the cavalry arrived from the other game, Isla, Bella, Roise, Amirah and Izzy all came on and added more tenacious effort with Bella, Isla and Amirah move onto defense with Roise playing upfront the girls all contributed massively to team non more so than Roise who fed a brilliant ball to Izzy who herself was introduced and kept up her terrific goal scoring run to stick the girls 2up.
The first half was one to remember as the girls played some super fluid football throughout the half.
The second half started with the same tenacious effort form the first with our defence holding firm and playing with ease with some lovely through balls into midfield, this allowed our attackers to continue to pile on pressure and so the pressure eventually told with Talia closing down a defender who made a slight error once the ball was won Talia fed the ball to Aoife who smashed it in to wrap the game up.
A brilliant all round performance from the team today everyone played their part in a fantastic team performance.
POTM Hannah Rose (HR),
an all round performance from HR today defensively adding strength and a determination not to be beat, but what has been added to HR's game is her ability to look for that forward thinking pass today was her best game in a Crewe shirt.
🔴⚽️2017/2018 Girls⚽️🔴
Well done to all the girls that came out on a wet and windy Sunday morning. Despite the weather the girls showed their commitment and even better, their enjoyment of the game!!
Our 2018 were on fire showing off the skills learned this week at training and bagging numerous goals. Well done to Phoebe on getting player of the week, she took on lots of positions and bagged herself a goal in the process! Her development since joining us a short while ago has been outstanding.
Our 2017 girls were limited in numbers but they didn't give up thanks to the help of some of our 2018 girls. Even after a few knocks our little warriors kept going until the final whistle of the final game!!
Eva rose was our player of the week, she showed confidence in every position she took on. Eva rose is always a threat to the opposition and doesn't back down from a tackle.
Bring on this week's training!! It has been a pleasure taking these girls the past few weeks.
🔴2016 Colts🔴
Crewe united Colts were in action again with another competitive game.
Both teams got on the scoresheet which made for an entertaining game! Crewe started very slowly which allowed Downshire to take an early lead. The boys gathered themselves at halftime and managed to keep the opponents goalkeeper busy. Eventually scoring after some wayward shots, several on the line saves and a missed penalty. Well done boys 👏🏻
Huge thanks to Downshire for the match 🤝

⚽️⚽️🔴What a fantastic morning of football for the 2019s & 2020s 🔴⚽️⚽️
There were plenty of impressive wins and a few very close games, with the boys showing real improvement in their passing, teamwork, and confidence on the ball. It’s brilliant to see their hard work at training starting to shine through on the pitch!
Even with a few tough tackles coming in, our lads stayed composed, focused, and kept playing their football the right way — a credit to their attitude and sportsmanship.
A big thank you to all the parents for coming along to support — your encouragement and positivity make a huge difference every week.
Well done to all the players and coaches for another brilliant Saturday of football! 👏⚽
🔴⚽️ 2012 Boys⚽️🔴
Tight game for the boys this morning but showed good character in the second half to claim the win. Sluggish first half from the boys but found a couple of more gears in the second and played a bit more like themselves.
Great run and move by Riley to win the penalty which Troy tucked away expertly👏 another bit of nice play from the boys saw Troy finish off a good move for his second of the game.
Midway pulled one back to make it a nervous finish until Riley stepped up with great vision and finish and chipped there keeper from 25 yards to seal the win. One thing to see it but another to do it outstanding goal Riley👏👏
MOTM was close today again with a few good performances but it goes to Olly McCullough, solid game at full back, never missed a tackle or header all day, read the game well and played some nice balls up to Tyler to start the attacks. Good game Olly consistently good all morning. Brilliant. 💪💪💪👏👏
