🔴⚪2014s v Moira⚪🔴
⚽️ match report ⚽️
What a game to be involved with the 2014 set up! Unfortunately lost to a moira side 4-1 who definitely were nowhere near better than us. The better football, communication and commitment came from our side. You could really see the effort, especially in the second half when our wingers were having their defenders run ragged, defenders like Joel, James and Daniel stepping up when we needed it as well. You could tell with the moira celebrations that they got off lucky despite the scoreline because we could’ve easily beaten them another day. Shoutout to zach for a great goal today and our player of the match Joel who lead brilliantly from the back, kept the positivity going and wouldn’t give up. A lot of positives to take from tonight and can only improve the players from here! Well done everyone!
⚽️🔴⚪️ Crewe 2015's vs Newcastle ⚽️🔴⚪️
Another entertaining LCJL game played in the Dome tonight.
The initial start to the game was frantic and after 5 minutes with the 1st chance of the game Newcastle took the lead after some nice football. Our Crewe boys grew into the game and started playing the footy we know they can. Michael, Lakes and Padraig were calm under pressure and Jenson was trying to get the ball down and play.
Into the 2nd period and our boys continued pressing with Jacob, Micah and Ryan linking up well. Micah was unlucky to see his free kick hit the bar after a great effort and then a great ball by Jenson played Micah through, who saw his great lob go inches wide!
Into the 3rd period and Cillian, Lewis and Terry were giving everything and we kept pushing for an equaliser but with no luck.
Our boys put in a superb effort the coaches were proud of.
With a calm performance Padraig was chosen as Player of the match but it could have been any of the boys.
Great to see their training coming into matches!

2015 girls v Dunmurry Yth 2013
Another game under the Friday night lights at Lisburn Leisure Plex, as our little troopers faced Dunmurry Youth 2013s.
The girls faced a mammoth task this evening as Dunmurry had been beating every team out of sight, knowing this the girls were set up a little differently with Cadhla Ros in Goals, Roise, Isla and Captain Bella all making a defensive three this evening, we had Laila, Talia and Aoife McG playing across midfield and the forward line.
The girls were asked to give 💯 effort and determination from the first whistle to the last and show Dunmurry what they can do.
As the game started Dunmurry capitalized on a mix up to score early on and go one up, the girls tried their best to get back into the game and made a fight of proceedings, sadly as the first half unfolded the girls conceded a couple more goals to finish the half behind.
The chat at HT was all about effort and leaving every last breath on the pitch and WOW.didnt they just.
From the first pass the girls were on Dunmurry like white on rice and gave the opposition the run around in the second half with Maddie and Izzy scoring some brilliant goals - very well worked team goals at that.
As changes were made LK, Abbie, Izzy,.Meghan and Maddie all showed their fighting and battling spirit.
Yet again the girls throughout the game showed why us coaches have moved them into this age group - their footballing ability alone is amazing - add the effort and determination they showed tonight, this will stand them well for future games and the future.
The girls should be extremely proud because they left everything on the pitch especially Bella who was immense from start to finish, if ever there is a player who gives 💯 and battles for everything it's Bella - loves a tackle and dust up, Bella is very deserving of the POTM award for tonight's game, absolutely Rock Solid.
The girls as a whole have now set themselves another standard tonight in terms of their ability to battle and we should see this more regularly.
5 proud coaches tonight and the girls should be absolutely delighted with themselves this evening, not often teams lose and walk way the happier - that is us tonight. #ballers #battlers #crewegirls
Thanks as always to our sponsors H&J Martin and Balmoral Healthcare
🔴⚪2016 Colts v Colinvalley⚪🔴
Matches against Colin Valley are always a goal fest and tonight was no different. Both teams came out flying and it stayed that way for the full match.
Rhys was super in nets. He made some amazing saves in nets with his hands and his feet. His distribution was very good to his team mates for the whole match.
Adan, Ben and Rossa were really good in defence. They intercepted the ball well and didn’t give the opposition time to settle. They played some lovely balls out from the back and were always trying to find one of their team mates with a pass.
Ciarán, Darragh and Mark were brilliant in midfield. They battled hard for every ball and never stopped working. They took their touch and played some really nice passes. Darragh scored a lovely goal while Mark grabbed himself a hat trick that included a long range free kick and a scissor kick!
Joseph and Kealan were brilliant up front. They were forever making runs down the line to help their team mates out and held the ball up well when they received it. Joseph scored a beautiful goal and Kealan was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.
MOTM today was Rhys. He was so brave in nets and threw his body at everything. He made great saves with his feet but the save of the match was the one he pushed over the bar that had everyone on both sides applauding.
🔴⚪️ Crewe Match report 2014 IFA ⚪️🔴
Crewe vs newhill 4-0
Crewe vs newcastle 2-1
6 goals and 1 conceded in two matches back to back games with no break.
These stats back up what we asked from our girls today... Determination, Brave and commitment.
Every single player gave us this today and we got our rewards.
Cadhla Ros when called apon she was alert and showed composure to give us a solid base to work from. She was backed up today by a rock solid defence in Ilsa and LK and bella, these girls dominated there position today and won every tackle and stopped every attack that came at them 👏
In center mid skipper today Amirah dictated the game for us , her work rate off the ball won us possession every time and started our attacks by spreading the ball out to the our left and right wing wizards Talia and Maddie and roise.
These 3 girls when on the pitch did not stop running up and down attacking and defending and scoring goals, both teams couldn't handle them today.
Laila must off covered every blade of grass today but what impress me is her game craft and vision such a smart footballer already with so much more to come and also got herself a goal starting in a forward role.
Today Potm could off been any off the girls to be honest , but with 3 goals and scoring the winner in the last minuite it could only go to Talia. Well done Talia 👏
Some off the football played today at times was really enjoyable some quality patterns off play couldnt be more happy with the performances and makes the cold Sunday Mornings enjoyable 💪⚽️
🔴⚪2019 MATCH REPORT⚪🔴
Team 1 consisted of Jayden, Finn, Zack and Jesse and had a very successful morning, winning three out of their 4 games. All the boys played amazingly with lots of goals as well as some crucial defensive challenges! Finn and Jesse both played some fine passes and showed off great composure on the ball, whilst also adding some goals to the list! Jayden and Zack both scored some brilliant goals and made some good tackles to help the team stay in front. Player of the match this week goes to Zack for some fantastic performances in each game. Hope all the boys had a good time and see you all on friday! ⚽️⚽️⚽️
🔴⚪2019 MATCH REPORT⚪🔴
Pitch 6 hosted Crewe United 2 today which consisted of James, Daithi & Aaron and they didn’t disappoint the travelling fan base 🙌🏻 A clean sweep with four out of four victories! A load of goals scored by the boys and some great defensive displays.
Aaron made his debut for the team today and wasted no time with a brilliant performance and wasn’t shy from scoring a goal or two! Daithi with another fantastic performance and was also amongst the goals and sweeping up well at the back! The pair of them didn’t know whether having their glasses 👓 on or off would result in more goals! James got in amongst the goals too and provided a crucial defensive block in the second game with the contest still close. Player of the week would go to Aaron on his debut.
Hopefully they all enjoyed their football this morning - they can be proud of their performance 😊Let’s hope those performances continue and the boys didn’t just put on this show for Valentines weekend!
🔴⚪2019 MATCH REPORT⚪🔴
Team 3 were the 10pm kick off this morning, tough to look at this team photo I think they were looking a fair dig with anyone who fancied it 💪🤣🤣🤣 but we got off to a flyer with a comfortable win in the opener 👍 with Conor making his 2019's bebut one to remember with goals, assists and all round great play 👏👏. It wasn't all plain sailing as we came up against a crumlin star team with an average height of about 0.5ft but full of energy, guts and skills, we struggled to contain them for the first period and went maybe 3-0 down but to our credit we dug in and finished strongly scoring a couple of goals to make the scoreline more respectable 👍 Thomas and Ryan were their usual brilliant self's with great effort and passing out from the back and chipping in with some lovely goals 👏👏⚽⚽ but today's player of the week went to Bobby, he gets stronger and more confident every week and today was an example of that, driving forward at every opportunity, scoring a couple of crackers and also claiming every own goal going 🤣 but in fairness he should claim them as it was his pressure on the defenders that put the ball, players, and anything else in his way in the net 💪💪👏👏👏 well done Bobby 👍

2015 v Carryduff IFA SSG
familiar opposition today in the name of Carryduff, but different players in the main this time.
With Abbie, Lydia and Bella, all taking turns as goalie during this game, Ivy, Aine were back in their preferred defensive roles, with Roise, Aoife J, Lydia, and Izzy all playing multiple roles across midfield and the forward line.
As the game started Abbie kept a calm manner in goal with some fine saves. despite Crewe conceding 2 early goals, Lydia stepped in and proved her finesse, with Abbie going outfield to trouble the opposition with her quick feet and dynamic runs, capped by an awesome tight angled goal, great finish.
A few defensive hiccups resulted in conceding 2 more goals, to go 4 down at half time.
Abbie, Eloise and Izzy, were running riot at times against the Carryduff backline and nabbing a few goals along the way, Lydia and Aoife as always ran their, legs off,.stopping any further attacks from Carryduff midfield and gave the girls the attitude and leadership needed to get through the game, Aoife J is really enjoying her first few games as a Crewe player was able to get the ball under control and look for her team mates and keep the team attacking at all times again, as did Lydia out on the right. Special mention to Eloise who never gave up out the right also and playing some great passes to set up a few goals. Izzy and Roiie teamed up well on the left, Roise strong as usual in defence, nice passing out, capped by a cracking long range goal, and Izzy with some close ball skills to thwart Carryduff defence time n time again, a quick throw in idea to Abbie started the Crewe goal rout as well as nabbing a few goals herself.
Bella had a brief spell in nets and her performance was fantastic making some super saves along the way as well as some sound effects thrown in 😂
The girls gave their all and deserved to come away with a draw,.going a goal down and fighting to level at every turn ,was a joy to watch.
The girls are coming on brilliantly well and games like this will allow them to find more confidence and continue to develop and learn along their footballing journey.
POTM - Genuinely could have been any of the girls as they all played a blinder but as tough as it was to make a POTM, we thought Abbie was brilliant up front, her positioning, her timing and her footwork and never giving her opponent a second to breathe.
Well done today girls, very entertaining game.
