🔴⚪2019s Match Reports⚪🔴
Friday Match report
The 2019 Boys hosted Ballymacash up at Crewe Park on Friday night for a friendly tournament. They all wore odd socks in support of Anti-Bullying week. There were some really competitive matches and some excellent football on display. It was all smiles from both teams at the end and hopefully we will be playing them again very soon🤞
Sunday Match report
On the Sunday it was back down to Crusaders for another round of the Pro-Direct tournament.
Thomas and Fion were great dribbling from the back.
Ethan Mckenna and Jaden made some great challenges and lead with their communication.
Ryan was very positive dribbling and had some really good moments.
Daithi and Zach protected the ball really well today and got forward really well at times.
Jacob was or Player of the Match today for is excellent play overall and some fantastic changes of speed/direction.
🔴⚪2017 Colts⚪🔴
Another great performance from our 2017 colts team against Carryduff Jets
Despite going 1 down early on our team got quickly into their stride and starting playing some lovely football.
Alfie and Tom scored brilliant individual goals, show casing their strong dribbling! Rueben also got himself on the scoresheet as well as making brilliant saves as keeper!
John was another who excelled in nets, brave and committed and keeping a clean sheet!
Was great seeing Noah on the scoresheet too who normally defends for his team but today had a run upfront!
Cole and Eónan played every position and helped their team with unselfish passing.
This week’s player of the match was Angus who ended with an impressive 4 goals! Well done Angus and enjoy your treats at CC’s
Crewe 2017s v Chimney Corner - Sat 16 Nov - Fonacab league
Our first Sat morning fixture in a while saw a new-look team take on Chimney Corner! We welcomed Alfie and Tom into the the fold and as always in this league it was a fast-paced game with lots of action and some brilliant goals :)
Lucia showed super footwork & came close on lots of occasions; Caleb used his pace & made lots of important tackles; Alfie was strong in midfield and went on powerful runs; Louie grabbed two goals and covered all areas of the pitch.
This week’s Player of the Week is Tom! We remember Tom starting with Crewe on a summer night in 2023. He is smart boy & always so attentive at training and in matches, and he should be so proud of his development - on Sat he worked so hard & made fantastic tackles, and his confidence in receiving the ball and driving forward is mega. Well done Tom and all the team!
2015 Jets Vs Lisdrum Colts
The Jets started well and took a well deserved lead which they held for most of the match. The boys played some very nice football and when out of possession their pressing was excellent.
Lisdrum got back into it with two well taken goals and a period of sustained pressure which knocked our boys confidence. James put in a POTM performance and was instrumental in keeping us in the game during a tough 10minute spell.
With a couple of minutes left our boys played more like the first half and pushed hard for an equaliser but it wasn't to be and Lisdrum sealed the win late on.
Credit to out boys they have stepped up a division and against a strong side they give a really good account of themselves. Their progress continues and they will learn to adapt to the level and show what they are capable off. Well done boys.

🔴⚪2015 vapours⚪🔴
Match report. Vapours. Crewe vs lisburn rangers.
A very tough morning for the boys who came up against a very well organised and strong lisburn rangers team.
Despite not having good day at office the boys never stop trying or giving there all. And that's all we can ask for. Player of the match today was harly. Who was asked to play several positions and did so well.
🔴⚪2015 Colts⚪🔴
A tough start to today’s game against Glendowan saw the Colts two down early on. This team never gives up and kept going. The boys gave maximum effort and grew into the game. James scored another trademark free kick and Lewis scored a second from closer range. This team really works for each other and digs deep when things are tough. Well done to all the Colts and a big shout out to our POTM Bobby!
🔴⚪2013 girls match report⚪🔴
In what had been billed in the build up as a leap into the unknown for the girls in the absence of their usual charismatic leadership team with Irelands own Coach Carter selflessly working an over time shift to help pay for this years surprise U12s Christmas Crewe party, the girls shrugged it all off to put in an epic team performance.
In all seriousness it’s fantastic when you see the girls working hard not for themselves but their team mates, running back to mark someone or to close space.
I asked Hannah to play an unfamiliar role of forward and she responded by setting up 2 goals with her brilliant link up play.
Aoife P was composed on the ball passing out of the defence and helping to start attacks.
Rachel continues to read the game like a book and she’s 2 chapters ahead of everyone else so already knows what is going to happen.
Going in for a 50/50 tussle with a girl twice her size deep into the 2nd half with the game already won is just one of those moments you remember isn’t it ?
And the few times the ball did break beyond the defence you have an instant thought “thank god we have Zara.. and then Zara saves the shot!)
Bonnie was up and down that wing the whole time she was on and whilst she rightly takes the glory of scoring a hat trick her work rate was at least matched by Lexi.
When Aoibheann is full of running it’s always great to see, helped bring the ball up the pitch a few times.
Rose turning up with a knee brace and still wanting to play and being rewarded with a goal.
We used the bench a lot during the game to try and give everyone game time so there was a lot of chopping and changing mid-game but remarkably none the girls allowed that to impact the flow of the game.
We stayed in control regardless of who was on and what position they played even when unfamiliar.
Lana, Emily and Demi all continue to improve week on week and the day was so close to being topped off if Orlaith would have scored that goal at the end only for the ball to be stolen from the tip of her toe at the last second !
I hope I’ve not left anyone out,
Well done girls

2015 v Newcastle 2013 Lisburn League
Another tough game awaited the girls today as we entertained an unbeaten Newcastle team.
As the game started, the girls were caught cold and allowed Newcastle to get a head start and score a couple of quick goals not to be downbeat the girls dug deep and battled back into the game and were unlucky not to grab a goal or two.
As the girls pushed forward for a goal to get back into the Newcastle hit us on the counter attack to go 3 up.
As the game drew to a half. We discussed putting more energy into our play and helping each other out in attack and defence.
With Cadhla Ros taking more time and finding the right pass at the right time allowed for us to get a better foothold of the game with Roise, Isla and Bella all moving the ball forward and being more physical in the back line.
Talia and Laila had some great passages of football and worked well in midfield together this allowed for some great attacking moves, Izzy and Maddie showed some of their skills and speed out on the wings and had the beating of the opposition most of the time, Meghan and Abbie offered some good out all options with them both wanting the ball on the back foot and then drive the team forward.
The girls worked well going forward and Captain Abbie got a well earned goal today richly deserved for all her efforts.
Unfortunately today wasn't one of the better "team" performances but the girls still showed that they can compete at this age group and that's all we can ask for.
POTM - Roise, Roise had a great game today her ability to read the game and intercept the ball was evident during this game, she also showed some tidy passing out from the back, very well deserving of this POTM. special mention also to Laila who has a very good game and was close to winning POTM.
There will be ups and downs along this road, especially as we continue to play two years up. But the girls deserve all the credit for what they are achieving and doing. Well done all.

Match Report v SOPFC
TODAY we took on our friends at Oliver Plunkett in what turned out to be a tough game for the girls.
We started the game well with the girls stringing a few passes together but were finding it tough against a stubborn SOPFC defence.
We had 2 players making their first appearances today in Yara and Eva Rose and both done extremely well and will continue to get better with training.
We had Lydia and Sophia both sharing turns in nets today and both pulled off some superb saves to keep the team in the game.
In defence Aine and Ivy were their usual self defending and battling for every ball. In midfield Eloise, Eva Rose and Amirah always driving forward trying to create chances and helping out their defenders when needed.
Today's player of the match was on of our debutants, Yara. Yara showed great skills and footwork on the ball and was always busy tackling and tracking back. She almost added a wonder goal to her performance skipping past a few defenders and instead of shooting deciding to tee up Aine for a well worked team goal.
The more these girls continue to train and apply themselves the more they will improve. At this stage coaches are just happy that the kids seem to be enjoying the trainings and matches and taking on board what they are being coached. Keep it up girls ⚽🔴⚪💪
🔴⚪2018 girls⚪🔴
What a team performance we had today.
Sadie's composure in midfield helped turned defense into attack throughout the game. Superb today
Jessica pushed forward at every opportunity and her passing was exceptional
Conor provided great pace on the wing his determination to win the ball was fantastic
Our player of the match was Harper who's play up front had that touch of class today. Scoring different types of goals and passing with great precision.
Great team performance all round
