*🔴⚪*Match Report: Crewe 2015 Girls vs Carryduff 2015 Girls**🔴⚪

**The run continues...**

That’s two games unbeaten as the girls continue to grow in confidence and are now finding their footballing groove, sound familiar....?🤣Today, they faced familiar foes in the shape of Carryduff, a team they battled hard to draw 1:1 with last Sunday.

The girls started with Cadhla Ros in goals, Lydia and Aine in defense, Aoife J, Eloise and in midfield, and Orlaith up front.

From the first minute of the game, the girls showed what they've been learning in training and playing some great passing football. Lydia and Aine making a great duo in defence, Aoife J and Eloise playing some great passing to move the ball forward to Orlaith. Aoife J getting 2 assists, 1 to set up Orlaith with the teams first goal, and another to set up Eloise for a delightful finish into to the net. Despite the first half ending in 2:2 draw.

Not much instruction was needed at halftime, only to track back a little more and to up the tempo.

The second half started well, a few changes made, Lydia going into midfield and Aoife J doing defensive duties and both excelling in these changes. Aine, as always, gave a solid performance and was rightfully rewarded with a goal, from a smartly taken corner kick to round the game out, winning 3:2.

Saving the best for last, our POTM went to Cadhla Ros, who's performance in nets was the reason for the win, I wasn't counting, but I'm gonna guess she made around 12 amazing saves this morning, with some shots being well hit!!! Getting down to trap the ball, rushing out and pressing forwards runs to her kickouts and decision making, a well deserved POTM.
Well played Cadhla Ros and well played to all the girls this morning.

Match Report: Crusaders vs. Crewe

Our team put in a fantastic performance against Crusaders in what was a closely contested match, with only three goals separating the sides. The game showcased great teamwork, determination, and individual brilliance across the pitch.

Olivia was a key attacking threat, showing excellent footwork and getting on the scoresheet.
Eva Rose controlled the midfield well, demonstrating strong passing and vision.
Tadhg was solid in defense, breaking up attacks and playing great long balls to link up with Olivia.
Emilie, despite her size, proved to be a fearless and highly effective defender, consistently winning battles at the back.
Brodie displayed great skill with the ball, strong passing, and an impressive ability to strike the ball cleanly.
Harper contributed well to the team’s overall play while getting herself a goal.

It was a tight contest, and every player played there part. The teamwork and effort from the whole squad were outstanding, Well done to all!

Match report: Crewe 2017s v Cliftonville - Sat 22 Feb - Fonacab league

On the way to Falls Park the Fontaines D.C. song ‘It’s Amazing to be Young’ was blasting on the stereo and it set the tone for the morning 😂

A really brilliant performance from all the kids, we love how much effort they put in to press and tackle high up the match and it’s nice when that effort turns into early goals.

The pitch seemed big today and Louie went on many runs, grabbing goals and debuting his ‘Isak’ celebration. Caleb and Lucia were also wearing their finishing boots, clinically putting the ball in back of the net. .

Matthew made some vital interceptions and played some lovely through balls. And Player of the Week was Theo! Theo was excellent especially when playing on the left wing, showcasing his silky skills but also fantastic with his tacking and passing, a performance full of heart! ❤️🔴⚪️⚽️

*🔴⚪*Match Report: Crewe 2015 Girls vs Ballyclare 2013 Girls**🔴⚪

**The run continues...**

That’s four games unbeaten as the girls continue to grow in confidence and are now finding their footballing groove. Today, they faced a strong-willed and battling Ballyclare team.

The girls started with Cadhla Ros in goals, Roise and Bella in defense, Laila, Izzy, and Maddie in midfield, and Talia upfront.

As the game began, the girls appeared a little sluggish for the first couple of minutes but suddenly found their footballing feet and dominated most of the game, playing some lovely football along the way. Credit to the girls during the first half as they battled their socks off and had multiple opportunities to score, only for the Ballyclare keeper to keep them at bay, with Maddie, Talia, and Laila all coming close. As we made some changes, Abbie, Aoife, Meghan, and Isla were all introduced, and the impact was immediate, with Abbie winning the ball high up and laying a ball into Laila's path, who scored into the bottom corner.

Our defense held strong with Bella being her ever-dominant self, controlling the back line well with Roise and Isla helping to sweep up when needed. Izzy, Maddie, Aoife, and Talia were on top form today, none more so than Talia, who won the ball high up the field and played a nice through ball to Maddie, who scored her first goal of the day.

Abbie and Meghan, ably backed up by Laila, worked their legs off today, making sure they stopped Ballyclare from attacking.

As the second half started, Maddie got us off to a great start with a sublime finish to put the game to bed. Maddie was extremely impressive today and tormented the Ballyclare back line all game.

Cadhla Ros was kept mostly quiet due to the efforts of all the outfield players who prevented anything from going near our goal, until Ballyclare was awarded a free kick. This called for Cadhla Ros to be alert, and wasn't she just - making an extremely important save to help the team finish with a well-deserved win and a clean sheet. The unbeaten run is intact, and the girls will be brimming with confidence leading into our next game - the Semi-Final.

**Player of the Match (POTM):** It could have gone to any of the girls, but today we selected Abbie, who was back to her physical best - battling for every ball and also helping the girls get on the score sheet with a great assist, battling through the pain barrier. Special mention to Maddie, who was a very close second to Abbie.

The 2016 Crewe Jets lined up against Carryduff Jets in the Bluebell Stadium.

Joseph has played his first match with us today, the boys eyes lit up when he turned up with his gloves on and made some impressive saves in the warm up.

Joseph was composed and made several smart saves with his hands throughout the match. He distributed quickly to his defenders and demonstrated good positioning at corners.

Charlie and Jacob D are a formidable defensive duo, both calm on the ball, finding the midfield with good passing and strong but fair in tackles. Jacob was Captain today and led the defensive work well. Charlie was unlucky to have a rocket of a strike disallowed (debatable 😄).

Cassius showed us why they call him the RAM in centre midfield 😄💪he is so determined to win the ball back and has a lovely turn to move away from the opposition. He worked hard today and scored a great strike, to the cheers of the sidelines.

Ronan and Theo are enjoying playing across the left and right midfield, using their pace well today. Ronan showed his dribbling ability and eagerness to get into the box. Theo helped up front as striker in the second period, getting into great positions and helping himself to a goal for his hard work!

Shane and Jacob are another pair who work their socks off, they are brave in the tackle with Jacob again showing nice composure to look up and make good decisions in his passing. Shane was a menace up front as he played across the midfield and helped win the ball back often, unlucky with a few shots today.

Micah continues to bring his shooting boots to matches. He gets himself in good positions and his teammates have been so good to create him a lot of chances. Micah finished a good attacking move with a clean strike, there was never any doubt he'd get his goal ⚽️

The boys worked hard today, enjoying their football and played with discipline in their positions and with a smile on their faces.

Player of the Match was close with Cassius full of energy in midfield and our two defenders helping keep the clean sheet. But out choice today was a brave and calm keeper! Joseph was outstanding and deserves the recognition today 👏 🙌 ⚽

Thanks to the parents for their support today, we love to hear them cheering the goals and the defensive work, thanks to Carryduff Jets who played good football and thanks to our sponsor Roy Kennedy Fuels.

⚽🔴⚪2012 MATCH REPORT⚪🔴⚽
Good wee draw this morning for the boys, unlucky not to come away with the win, we created enough chances in the second half and probably should have scored a few more. Good strong second half performance from all the boys in which we upped our game and played a bit of decent football. Well done boys decent result after a few tough weeks💪💪💪 MOTM was Troy Phillips, just solid today, gives you that fight in midfield, any ball he goes for he wins, he never shies from a tackle and helped tighten up the defence when moved back to centre half. Another good game today Troy strong as a bull well done💪💪👏👏👏

Match Report
2015 Colts

A super game on Wednesday night with two Crewe teams determined to get the ball down and play football.

The 2015s took an early lead with a quick fire goal from Cillian who had a really good game. The two teams then exchanged goals with Culann scoring from a free kick. The 2016 team kept on pushing and scored a lovely equaliser. Both teams kept going until the end. A nice move ended with Luke hitting the post but they were unable to tuck away the winner. Ryan was POTM with tireless running and good wing play throughout.

⚽️2014 colts Match Report⚽️

Crewe United Colts took on Castlewellan today in good conditions at Finaghy primary school. Our lads started the best, confidence high passing the ball around. A great move from dandan to yousef to kye to conor seen the ball played through to Carter who smashed it in to put us 1 up. A fantastic team goal. Not long after jasper made his way down the left wing and with a high looping shot it dropped into the net to put us 2 up. We dominated the first half but then a dubious penalty was given which let them back into it.The game Sat at 2-1 for a while as our lads worked their socks off, we completely ran out of steam unfortunately with our heads dropping We conceded a few more to end with a 4-2 defeat. Special mention today to Alfie, it was his first game for us and he done great, playing some great passes and making some decent tackles. The great thing about football is we can bounce straight back in 7 days and put it all behind us. Win, lose or draw our group of lads are learning every game and training. Today's player of the match was yousef, he played in an unfamiliar defensive position today and bossed it. Keep the heads up lads and go againn🙌
