🔴⚽️2018 Girls🔴⚽️

On a freezing cold Sunday morning at Brooke cages our 2018 girls took to the pitch against the opposition determined to continue their impressive form shown in recent weeks.

With smiles on their faces they set about their jobs, defending superbly and attacking at will, sharing the goals between the whole team.

Every girl done fantasticly well in all positions and every one happy to help out where needed. Shout out to Sofia for playing for the opposition to ensure they could field a team.

Our player of the week was Sophie, just joined in with the girls this week she seemed to have an absolute ball today. A real natural footballer has taken to our team like a duck to water. Well done Sophie ⚽️

🔴⚽️2017 Girls⚽️🔴

A big well done to the 2017s yesterday, who showed fantastic work rate and a lot of fight to battle through a number of really tough games!

Hollie, Evie, Jessica, Sadie, Fiona and Eva Rose ran their socks off and played some lovely football at times.

Congratulations to Evie for her standout performances despite the knocks and bumps, making her our player of the week 🙌🏻

⚽️🔴⚪️ Crewe 2015 Juniors vs Newry City – Match Report⚽️🔴

A late evening kick-off under the floodlights at Laurelhill saw our boys looking to secure a place in the Lisburn & Castlereagh Junior League Christmas Cup final.

Crewe started brightly, with Jacob and Ryan stretching the Newry defence from both wings. Cillian S came closest early on, denied only by an outstanding save from the Newry City goalkeeper.

In midfield, Cillian B was absolutely dominant, driving the team forward with energy and composure. Luke T and Luke G worked tirelessly, while defenders Terry, Lakes, Michael, and Lewis were so solid that Padraig in goals had very little to deal with.

---

Second Half

The game tightened after the break, becoming a more cagey affair. Culann impressed with his energy and bravery, and captain Michael organised the team superbly—holding the line perfectly.

Crewe were inches from the opener when Jacob cut inside and unleashed a strike from outside the box, only to see it cannon off the far post! 🙈

The Moment of Magic

With just two minutes left, a high through ball dropped to Ryan, who struck a spectacular Marco van Basten-style volley into the top corner to send Crewe into the Christmas Cup Final! A stunning finish worthy of the occasion.

⭐ Man of the Match: Cillian B ⭐

A well-deserved award for a dominant midfield display! 🙌🏻

⚽️🔴2019/2020 Teams⚽️🔴

Brilliant effort from our 2019 & 2020 teams this weekend!

The 2020 squads were scoring for fun, putting in some fantastic attacking football. They dominated most of their games and played with huge smiles on their faces from start to finish. Great teamwork, great goals, and great energy all round!

The 2019 teams had a tough set of fixtures, facing big and strong opposition, plus a few late call-offs to deal with. But they never backed down—showing hard tackling, tireless running, and real determination. Their effort was rewarded with a couple of dramatic last-minute winners that had everyone buzzing.

A brilliant weekend for both age groups. Proud of all the kids! 🙌⚽

⚽️🔴2012 boys⚽️🔴

Cracking performance from the boys yesterday morning under difficult circumstances.

The boys kept on task and point, letting their football do the talking, and claimed a comfortable win.

Proud of the boys and how they conducted themselves and as a team, well done. MOTM was Matthew Davy, calm and cool, and rose above everything else thrown at him with a super performance. Solid at the back won every tackle and encouraged his teammate’s to play football. Great maturity from a young man in some difficult situations, a touch of class from him.

Well done Matthew brilliant today👏👏👏💪💪💪⚽️⚽️

🔴⚽️ 2019 and 2020 Boys⚽️🔴

Brilliant performances from both our Crewe 2019s and Crewe 2020s today! From the first whistle it was full energy — chests puffed out, nonstop running, and some fantastic football on display. We scored so many goals we genuinely forgot how many!

The kids showed real character: lovely passing combinations, brave tackles, and big wins against teams who are getting stronger every week. Proud of how they rose to the challenge and kept smiling throughout.

A huge thank you to all the parents and grandparents who came out to support the teams — your encouragement means everything. Well done everyone! ⚽👏

⚽️🔴2012 Boys⚽️🔴

Happy with the win this morning guys, harder work than it should of been, created plenty of chances just couldn’t finish them, one of those days, on another day the game would of been over by half time.

Good first half some nice football played, second half was a bit up and down the boys got frustrated which is normal enough, but they kept at it and got the win well done boys.

MOTM was Cody, needed someone to grab the game and take charge, and that’s what he did, cracking second half performance leading by example pushing the boys on, some great tackles and strong runs from defence. Well done Cody a captains performance 💪💪💪💪⚽️⚽️⚽️ ‎ ‎

⚽️🔴2018 Girls⚽️🔴

What a game the 2018 girls had yesterday at the cages. All the girls showed up in full force and were ready for action. It was evident from the very start of the game that they meant business.

Every girl showed off their skills they have been practising at training. We saw some great passing and communication throughout. The girls reading of the game has improved greatly with girls knowing where to be as play progresses.

Our player of the week went to Harper, who showed flexibility on taking on each position and giving it her all. Harpers enthusiasm for football is present in every game and rubs off on her team mates. Well done Harper. For such a young group of girls, their potential is clear to see and the enjoyment they get from football is heartwarming.
