Eamonn McCarthy

Eamonn rejoined the Crewe ranks as manger of the First team in 2017 some 20 years after lining out in a Crewe shirt in his younger days. Eamonn previously had an unbelievable record as Newington YC boss winning multiple Amateur League titles and took Newington to the ranks of the Irish League. This was also set against a backdrop of many Cup wins including the Steel & Sons Cup and a memorable Irish Cup run only to be ended by Glentoran. ‘Soap’ is 100% dedicated and committed in his managerial role and has been fantastic on and off the pitch for the club. A family man at heart he understands the club ethos and matched by his desire to win football matches.
