We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Manager for the Crewe United Under 23’s team. As part of our commitment to developing young talent and fostering a pathway to the first team, the Under 23’s Manager will play a crucial role in recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and guiding players towards achieving their full potential.
The role becomes available after Anto Moran’s decision to step down after last years superb season with a strong campaign in the MUFL Reserve Championship and securing the O’Hara Cup for the second time in three seasons. We would like to place on record our thanks to him and his assistant Paul Harvey, for all their time and commitment to the u23’s.
Responsibilities
– Lead and manage the Crewe United Under 23’s squad in recruitment, training, matches, and development activities.
– Develop and implement training programs to enhance player skills, fitness, and tactical awareness.
– Mentor players to help them develop professionally and personally.
– Collaborate with the first team coaching staff to ensure alignment with club philosophy and goals.
– Analyse player performance, opposition, and match outcomes to inform coaching decisions.
Requirements
– Experience in coaching youth or development teams.
– Strong communication and leadership skills.
– Ability to develop and implement effective training and development programs.
– Passion for youth development and talent progression.
