Crewe United Reserves are seeking expressions of interest for the position Reserve team manager for ahead of the 2022/23 season in the Mid Ulster Football League. The Reserves have just won Reserve Division 1 with the hope that an application to the Mid Ulster Reserve Championship may be accepted for the forthcoming season.
The club is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic coach to work within the club’s team structure to support the development of players, supporting the First team and help support the transition from Reserve to First Team football. The role will also include working closely with the u18’s manager and bringing players through to the Reserve team at an appropriate juncture in their development.
This opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to gain experience and development in football at a high level and with the club providing opportunities for support, development and potential progression to our 1st Team management structure within the football club to the right candidate. It also provides an opportunity to use, and play, at our fantastic facilities at Crewe Park where all home games and training will be held.

Reserve Team Manager
Responsible For:
Providing coaching and team management for the Reserve Team squad and developing players for senior football.
Responsibilities of the Role:
The main purposes of the role are to help guide and develop individuals and where appropriate help them progress from both youth football to the Reserve team and also from the Reserves to the First team squad.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of activity regarding the squad and an important part of the role will be developing positive relationships with the First team and U18 managers.
Our club has a clear development model to create and enhance a player pathway from youth to adult football and this will play a major part in this role.
Requirements of the role:
It would be desirable that candidates have a minimum of the IFA Level 2 or working towards this accreditation. The club ideally requires someone who has experience at Youth or Reserve team football who is willing to embrace the vision of the club and put player development to the fore of their role. This role will be responsible for player recruitment as required.
