A New Year begins and we welcome some new faces to Crewe Park. Firstly, a huge thank you to EPH Controls who have sponsored our new Adidas training kits for the First team. Due to the Pandemic, like all supply lines, it has taken longer than expected to get into our new gear but we are delighted with the gear from our new supplier Next Level Sports. We look forward to all the Crewe teams being in the Adidas gear over the coming weeks ahead.
Everyone at the club was delighted to see Jack Sharvin sign on the dotted line as he moves to Crewe Park following his time at Killyleagh. A superb player, having previously been with Linfield and Sheffield United, he will undoubtedly add something extra to the Crewe side and it is fantastic to have him on board after interest in his signature from many other clubs.
We also welcome back Ciaran ‘Smurf’ Murphy as he returns to Crewe Park for his second spell in the red and white. He always has an eye for goal and will add to the attacking options for Crewe boss Eamonn McCarthy.
We said farewell to our superb goalkeeper Ryan Burig as he heads back to the States for a trial with an MLS team and we wish him every success. However we are fortunate to bring in another super young keeper in Christian Matson who hails from New Jersey and is our 3rd American shot stopper at Crewe in the last 3 years.
We also bring in Breandan ‘Babbi’ O’Neill from Crumlin Star. The central midfielder will add strength to the Crewe side and he will be an important part of the Crewe side with games coming thick and fast between now and the end of the season.
